Our research program involves the elucidation of the regulatory networks governing hematopoietic stem cell specification and self-renewal and the identification of innovative strategies to expand these cells in culture for clinical purposes. As part of the Leucegene project, the Sauvageau lab also aims to improve acute myeloid leukemia stratification and identify novel therapeutic options for this disease using an integrated approach combining genomics, bioinfomatics, medicinal chemistry, molecular and cell biology as well as proteomics. https://sauvageaulab.ca/
